This shredder is incredible! I've owned it for about a month now and have used it daily. The first time I used it, I had a ton (one and 1/2 thirty gallon trash bags full when done shredding) of personal papers to shred, as I had been saving up till I got a new shredder. The Intellishred 89Ci shredder handled the job without hesitation. It even handled some mail still in the envelope. I say "some mail" because there is a light indicator that will let you know if the item you are shredding is too thick. Great feature! I have yet to have a jam, which constantly occured with my old shredder. It shreds credit cards without a problem too. I have yet to shred cds, but by the way that this shreds credit cards, I have no doubt that shredding cds will not be a problem.
